Block Dies
Features
- REED’s block dies thread both carbon steel and stainless steel with no die change required.
- Produce the most precise thread of any die.
- The double-threaded throats literally pull the die onto the pipe making it easy to start threading.

Take care to select both the proper thread type and pipe material before choosing a die.
More Information
Only REED solid block dies have wide throats and extra-fine threads that actually pull the die onto the pipe, even if the burr is large. CNC-milled from solid tool steel, solid block dies are available in NPT threads. Chasers do not have to be individually set. REED chasers are machined as a unit (not bolted in place) for perfect alignment. Lower cost and less weight are two more good reasons to use REED solid block dies. Use dies with REED Threadguard cutting oil for better and faster threads and longer die life.
The REED block die is machined as a unit to insure perfect threads and to eliminate the danger of inserting a chaser into the wrong slot.
