Reed Tools Featured at Grand Opening of Steamfitters Training Facility

In the spirit of pipe fitting, the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Steamfitters Training Facility in Western Pennsylvania (Harmony, PA) was actually a copper tubing cutting ceremony. As a Pennsylvania manufacturer and supporter of the Steamfitters’ Local 449, Reed was invited to provide the tools for the event. A Reed tripod was used in addition to a few pipe jacks and then the Reed Quick Release™ tubing cutter. Governor Tom Wolf had the honor of cutting the pipe, as shown in a short video.
